Send your HyVee receipts to School!
When you shop at Hy-Vee grocery and gas stores, save your receipts and send them to the school. Put them in the basket in the lobby or give them to Ms. Robin in the office.
We turn them in every year at the end of April, and Hy-Vee donates 0.5% of the receipt total to our school. Last year, we raised $1,005 for the PTO! $201,033.04 receipts submitted YAY!!
- If you have receipts dated before March 31, 2021, you can mail them to school, send them with students or you can drop them off in the lobby of the school.

Box Tops for Education
Our school received a check for $1,003.60 last December for Box Tops… it all adds up! Ask your grandparents, neighbors… how many can you clip???
Paper Box Tops:
Keep clipping physical box tops coupons as long as you can find them. They still earn 10 cents each! Learn more at the Box Tops Site.
- Check the date… Expired Box Tops don’t count!
- Package your box tops:
- Glue 25 Box Tops on a piece of paper. -or-
- Count Box Tops into baggies and
write the number on the baggie with a permanent marker (50 per baggie at most). - Write your name and your teacher’s name on the baggie or paper so your classroom gets the credit!

Ronald McDonald House – Pop Tabs
Hiawatha will be collecting pop tabs to donate to Ronald McDonald House. We’re helping keep families together when it matters most, and we’re giving the students the joy of giving and teaching our students the value of recycling!
Students can start bringing tabs to school ASAP. Pop tabs can be given to your teacher (in a baggie) or give to the office.

Hiawatha earns:
10 points per $1 spent in-store or online
5 points per Gallon of Gas
Every 250 points = $1
Office Depot / Office Max
5% of qualified supplies purchased in-store/online go back to the school to buy items at Office Depot/Office Max.
